Wed, 12 Jan 2011In honor of the Chevrolet Corvette's inaugural appearance and victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans some 50 years ago, Chevrolet built a special 2011 Corvette Z06 wearing the same paint scheme--Arctic White paint, blue stripes and the number "3"--to pay tribute to the class-winning 1960 Cunningham Corvette. Petrol price hits three-year low

As of yesterday, the UK average petrol price was 129.12p a litre - the lowest since February 23 2011 - while the average diesel price was 133.55p a litre, the lowest since February 6 2011. AA public affairs head Paul Watters said: "Asda triggered something of a supermarket price war on Tuesday, which was enough to send average UK pump prices to their lowest for more than three years.
'First Aid' penalty notice scrapped
Fri, 25 Oct 2013A MOTORIST who received a penalty ticket when a camera car spotted her in a loading bay in Bristol after pulling over to administer first aid to an injured cyclist has had it cancelled. Janet Young had gone to help the cyclist in Church Road, St George, after he clipped a pavement and came off his bike. Mrs Young, a receptionist from Bristol, said despite the ticket she would do the same thing again.
